I hear manhunter I think of Green Lantern...I know it's Manhunters but it's the first thing I think of as I don't know the ones you mentioned.

My first was the Secret Society of Super-Villains one (who turned out to be a clone). At the time, a book devoted to a team of *villains* seemed utterly outrageous, and I was totally there for it. (These days, with titles devoted to less-than-heroic people ranging from Deadpool to Harley Quinn to Sabertooth, it's old hat, but back then it was shocking.) Even if it did turn into a Captain Comet stealth-book, at times.

My favorite was the Power Company version (who was a clone of the clone? I don't even know...). Him, Witchfire and Striker Z were total faves in that series. And like most of my favorites, they've been forgotten for decades.

Same here. I read about the robot Manhunters long before reading about any human ones and was confused that there used to be a human running around who looked like one of the robotic Oan Manhunters.
