It's hard to tell how serious Millar is, since he seems to have a mixed relationship with Marvel. But seeing as how DC just poached their top star, Brian Michael Bendis, from their clutches, I do see some merit in Marvel going for DC's best. They had good luck bringing Charles Soule into the mix, who had been working at DC on books like Superman/Wonder Woman. Someone like Johns probably is out of reach because of his influence at both DC and WB, but I think someone like Snyder might listen to Marvel if the price was right. I'm saying that him on Avengers would probably be a perfect fit.
