Default Zenescope recommendations (more than just t&a).

I feel Zenescope has an undeserved reputation for being worthless t&a bad girl comics. Not all of their comics are great, but they have produced quite a few very good comics. Comics that may be overlooked by readers put off by a cheesecake cover and a reputation that focuses only on their covers.

To anyone looking to try out Zenescope comics, I recommend the following:

The Wonderland trilogy (Return to Wonderland, Beyond Wonderland, Escape from Wonderland). Highly recommended.
Wonderland Annuals (especially the 2012 Annual, which is gorgeous and IMO Zenescope's single finest comic to date).
    Call of Wonderland
    Madness of Wonderland
    Wonderland ongoing series.

    Robyn Hood
    Robyn Hood: Wanted
    Robyn Hood: Legend

    Jungle Book
Jungle Book: Last of the Species

    Fly
    Fly: The Fall

    The Waking
    The Waking: Dream's End

    Irresistible

    Inferno

    Angel Falling

Most other titles can be safely ignored. The main Grimm Fairy Tales series is hit and miss - some issues are good, some are rubbish.

I know that The Jungle Book is really, REALLY damn good. You'd think it would have no buisness bein a Zenescope book.

By the way, how are those Little Red Riding Hood comics?

True about Jungle Book. The battle with Kaa, the River of Scales, is a true epic.

Robyn Hood vs Red Riding Hood one shot was good, as is the recent Code red mini.

I like the Robyn Hood books a lot. Those are fun.
I also like Sinbad and Jungle Book.
The Wonderland books are a little much. I don't like that style of horror.
I like some of the Grimm Fairy Tales. It is inconsistent but can be good.

I also get the Wonderland ongoing and enjoy it. Actually all the Wonderland books (annuals, trilogies) are well done.
The first two Fly stories are also good.
I also enjoy Robyn Hood. I used to get the main title Grimm Fairy Tales but it became to inconsistent and cross-over happy.

Just finished the last issue of Wonderland: Asylum. A very good series.

I just love the idea that the sentient incarnation of madness and horror is wearing the body of James Franco. Brilliant.

They publish the Charmed comics, I enjoy those a lot. And a new season is coming at last.
    Pulls:
Coffin: La Muerta, Lady Death, Hellwitch. Valiant: Shadowman. DC: Poison Ivy.

Well, the exclusive covers and some of the monthlies got me to notice Zenescope. But yes, I enjoy the Wonderland related books I have: Call of, Escape From, Beyond, Wonderland ongoing and I do have Alice in, but haven't read it. The Robyn Hood ones are probably my favorite. I might pull the ongoing they have planned. I have a couple Jungle Book issues but have yet to read them.

Shout out to Elias Chatzoudis, the man behind my avatar and Zenescope covers.
