We've seen succession of sorts in Venditti's Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps, where Tomar-Tu requested his ring go to another Xudarian, who turned out to be a younger Somar-Le from the flashforward issue (issue 13). The Lantern for Sector 1417 used to be Sinestro, and that role eventually passed to his daughter Soranik Natu. We've seen the passing of the torch to offspring in other superhero narratives (Sam Alexander in Marvel's Nova, taking on the black helmet like his MIA father did), and indeed inheritance and legacy is a fairly common theme not only in superhero stories but fantasy and science fiction as well (the Skywalkers in Star Wars).
"Excellent!" I cried. "Elementary," said he
Its a fun watch and pretty heartwarming .

Superman of Smallville. Shouldn't it be called Superboy? He's only 14.

All these books and all the diversity they have to show for it is dc superhero girls and an asian green lantern kid...
And out of those 15 books 9 of them features or centers on Batman related characters.

I like connecting the Batmobile back to Thomas.
Superman Family Adventures was fun so I'm looking forward to this (and I'm sure there will be those happy to see Superman back in a T-shirt and jeans).Superman of Smallville. Shouldn't it be called Superboy? He's only 14.

"Hipster" Kents might take some getting used too...
Damian still looks weird. And I don't think Superman and Batman would "abandon" their sons since they're probably responding to the disaster.
I wonder who the other girl rivals are?
The sports approach to the League could be interesting.Dear Justice League

I wonder if the art is an indication of the cast for this?
I wonder if the premise being based off the author's own experience with her police officer father means we'll see Larry Lance in this?
Yay, more Lil' Gotham fun .Batman Tales: Once Upon a Crime

This should be fun, especially since Aquaman's supposed to appear too, and it's nice to see Bumblebee in the lead.DC Superhero Girls, which introduces Mera

Can't wait to read this.Superman Smashes the Klan (set in 1946)

This sounds like a...very interesting Harley novel .
Hey, Selina with long hair.
Sounds like it's an Arthur/Mera love story from Mera's point of view, right when she first comes to the surface to kill Aquaman only to end up falling in love with him.
Still a little mum on what Titans we'll be seeing in this, beyond Raven and Beast Boy.
This feels like a mash-up between Gotham and a Batman high school AU.
This sounds really interesting, although Diana's outfit feels more Donna-ish.
I wonder if they're splitting Steve into two characters or if the other one is Trevor Barnes?
Superman Smashes the Klan, Black Canary, and Super Sons appear to be going for diverse casts.
I expect the same will be true for Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn.
And if the Dear Justice League art is any indication we've got Simon and Kendra appearing there.
Gotham City High also has a Latina Selina Kyle.
I don't think they need help because all these novels look pretty cool and interesting, but that's just me .
