Default Your Ideas For An Aquaman Animated Series

Showrunners: Greg Weissman and Larry Hama

Season 1: Takes some elements of Johns' run mixed with Aquaman's post crisis origin. Features Mera, Garth and Tula as supporting characters.

Season 2: Focuses on Atlantis becoming more public to the world and the implications this comes with.

Season 3: Adapts Peter David's run and brings in Koryak and Dolphin.

Season 4: Orin reclaims the throne and we see the establishment of Sub Diego. Introduces Jackson Hyde and Lorena Marquez.

    Voice Cast

    Phil Lamar as Orin/Arthur Curry

    Maria Canals-Barrera as Mera

Johnny Yong Bosch or Dante Basco as Garth

    Laura Bailey as Tula

    Crispin Freeman as Orm

    Keith David as Black Manta

    Nolan North as Vulko

    Eric Schweigh as Koryak

    Victoria Justice as Lorena Marquez

Tyler James Williams as Jackson Hyde/Kaldur

I think an Aquaman show for kids would be great. Aquaman and Mera having adventures all over the seven seas (and beyond, on occasion). Aquaman's pal Topo, Stormy the Seahorse, Garth, Tula, Vulko, Orm, Murk, Dolphin, the Tyrant King Rath, Fisherman, Black Manta, etc.

Join Aquaman and Mera in their underwater kingdom of Atlantis! Beware the Black Manta!

It can be all ages, but the designs should be simple, colorful, and inviting.

I say a comical cartoon with action with the Aquaman from the Brave and the Bold cartoon, and have catch phrases, running gags like Ocean Master pointing out flaws in Aquaman's rules in Atlantis.

Have a rivalry between Aquaman and his Atlantis with Queen Clea and her "Atlantis".

Why not? They're still DC animated series.

Also Teen Titans Go is currently in it's fourth season.

Teen Titans Go caters to little children and sells toys which is why it is successful. Most DC shows (and animated superhero shows in general) never make it past a 3rd season at the most. So yes DC has had good runs with their shows but most of them get axed very quickly because the whole goal in the first place is to sell toys and they want to cater to a certain demographic but apparently it never works. I highly doubt we will see another DC animated series outside of YJ season 3 and the CW Seed shows that isn't catered completely to young children for a long time.

That's a pretty good layout, covers the most meaningful incarnations while evolving the character and naturally building the world & developing the story. I'm guessing Black Manta for the first two seasons as the villain?

Brave and the Bold: Aquaman spinoff. Not saying I wouldn't watch another version but I don't know if it's something I'd be enthusiastic about.

I would base it on Johns' run and the current Rebirth run.

Also telepathy shown by circles from Aquaman's head and his hard-water balls for fighting enemies.

Yes, that should what they go for. Plus maybe on the cartoon we could finally have The Rise of the Seven Seas.
