What are DC's plans with the Green Lantern franchise?

They had female lanterns up the azz. All over the place. Even an Earth one! (Ah Jade... DC can erase you from existence in the comics but not from my heart) Sure she had green skin, but I don't judge people by their skin color.

The difference between Jessica and all those other female Lanterns is that Jess is by far the most marketable. She's actually representing a very underrepresented population in comics, Latinos! That's also probably a big reason why she was added to SuperHero Girls instead of Jade, Soranik or Arisia, well besides being human and an awesome character.

AND Batman now too. Hopefully Selina never finds out. Our boy can be stuck for 37 years in some interdimensional hell hole with Wonder Woman and not get tempted, but he can't resist Jessica apparently. Damn.

Latinas are apparently irresistible! Lol Same thing happened with Beatriz/Fire, in the cartoons that is.

After Doomsday, the GL franchise will be given to the God of All Comics, and he will destroy minds as he unearths magical Lantern mythos from 1961 on his two prong attack. Remember, the rings are magic wish rings. This is what he will explore.

His second prong, he will work with Snyder and Johns and thru the GLs explore the mutiverse, and other concepts he showed in Multiversity

I liked Geoff's Hal. Although I guess I'm biased because that was really my introduction to the character .

I didn't really enjoy some of his New 52 Hal though...
