Vontaze Burfict has been suspended for the first four games of the season, 3rd consecutive season he'll start out suspended thought this time it's PEDs instead of a dirty hit

You just can't take Cinci seriously at this point so long as he's on the roster

    NFL News

    - The Kansas City Chiefs signed Chad Henne (QB) to back up Patrick Mahomes this season. The team wanted a veteran QB behind Mahomes and signed Henne for that.

    - The Minnesota Vikings days after signing Kirk Cousins , landed a big player for the defense. They reached a 1 year deal with Sheldon Richardson (DT) for $8 million. The deal can actually be worth $11 million if he hits incentives.

    - The Philadelphia Eagles lost Vinny Curry (DT) after they had to release him due to salary cap issues. After signing Michael Bennett and Haloti Ngata for the defensive line , Curry became the odd man out. His agent was pushing the Eagles to hurry and release him so they could play free agency and find a team that will pay for his services. Curry was due a $5 million roster bonus this Sunday. He'll be earning more than that soon.

    - The Baltimore Ravens signed Michael Crabtree (WR) to a 3 year , $21 million dollar contract. With $11 million guaranteed. Crabtree will take the lead receiver spot that was supposed to go to Ryan Grant who signed days earlier but failed a physical ! That voided his deal. Crabtree has had 3 solid seasons in Oakland but the team grew tired of his attitude.

    - New England is expected to sign pass rusher Adrian Clayborn (DE) to a deal. Clayborn is famous for the 6 sack game he had against Dallas on TV.

In NFL News , after 10 seasons Danny Woodhead is retiring . He battled injuries last season and was recently released by the Ravens. Woodhead is 33 and decided on retirement and tweeted his retirement. Woodhead in a tweet was happy with his career and brought up how he was from a small town and played Division II football and somehow had a 10 year career. Which was pretty amazing for the 5'8 Woodhead.

If anyone remembers he rocketed to fame when he was on the Jets 2010 , Hard Knocks from camp. When the Jets cut him Bill Belichick signed him and made him a valuable piece for the Patriots the next 2 seasons. Woodhead leaves with over 5,000+ combined yards rushing and receiving.

A decade ago a kid faked a college football signing and...wow its pretty wild how far it went.

Anyhow as the story goes Kevin Hart (not the comedian) was a small town kid who really was a smart football player. Its said he could diagnosis blitzes and more and had studied college schemes. Anyhow a major failing he had was...he didn't really do well in class. As the video explains Hart had a 1.8 GPA which he was making D's in class and while he bragged about Division 1 schools no coaches seemed to tell Hart that his grades needed to be higher for recruitment.

Then Hart would act like the form letters was somehow them trying to recruit him and he faked how Oregon was trying to recruit him. This was insane as again no coaches seemed to realize what was happening. That no Division 1 schools was looking at Hart. Finally after he did the recruitment video and it was exposed (Cal's coach then did a WTF , when Hart's name was mentioned) , it seems Hart seemed to at least go to college.

No clue where he went after 2012. Its been 6 years since ...but in the end it was wild that the entire town and high school coaches had no clue this guy was faking the entire recruitment.

They probably figure they can still get the guy they want at 6 and can fill in a lot of holes with the extra picks, they have 3 now in the 2nd round. 6 is still pretty high, probably every other trade offer was much lower down.

Now the Jets are definitely going for a QB. That means Bridgewater is a one year stop gap, and that $10 million for McCown was silly-stupid.

The Colts really didn’t give up much.

    1. Browns take a QB
    2. Giants take a QB
    3. Jets take a QB
    4. Browns take Barkley or Chubbs
    5. Broncos take a QB
    6. Colts take whoever the Browns didn’t take between Barkley or Chubbs

They are either getting the best offensive or defensive player in the draft that isn’t a QB. Which is what they were getting anyways. They just got a haul to have the Browns majentje decision easier for them.

In what world is three second round picks not worth moving back a measly 3 spots in the first round? Especially when you don't need to draft a QB or something? Getting seven players in the first two rounds of this and next year's draft is huge

That defense is going to be nightmarish IF it can stay healthy, big if given the shaky past of some it's biggest members

Especially since you are either gauranteed to get a generational running back prospect or the best defensive player no matter how things shake out.

That's actually a lot just to move down four spots. They got three 2nd rd picks. For a team like the Colts who are a long way from contending, that's three extra picks that could potentially end up starters.

What the Colts need is to protect Luck. I see them picking up some O Linemen.

Everyone believes moving up 3 spots in a draft and giving 3 , 2nd rd picks is a huge price. Lets examine this ....

In the famous Manning/Leaf draft of 1998 , San Diego moved up ...1 slot. They gave up 2 1st round picks in 1998 , 1999 . They also gave up a 2nd and 2 players in the trade. 1 spot folks....

In 2012 - The Washington Redskins to move up 4 slots traded , 3 1st round picks and a 2nd to St. Louis as we remember for RGIII.

And before you check mark QB by the NY Giants , its being claimed the Giants could draft OL help to further that for Manning. And select the best OL player there. The Colts saw that there was a need by the Jets for a QB. With a couple franchise QB's there they could have wanted more. 3 , 2nd's are nice around the middle of the draft. But here its like , ehhh not so much.

The Browns could go RB as they are leaning from what is claimed at #1 and then select QB at #4. We won't know til then but from rumors they are selecting.
