"I should describe my known nature as tripartite, my interests consisting of three parallel and disassociated groups; a) love of the strange and the fantastic, b) love of abstract truth and scientific logic, c) love of the ancient and the permanent. Sundry combinations of these strains will probably account for my...odd tastes, and eccentricities."

Someone will have to break the tie between Chicken Pocket and MRP
It always amazes me how many of these contests end up in a tie.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Wednesday afternoon. We need someone to break the tie. Who hasn't voted yet?

Maybe if by a certain time we don't have a tie breaking vote, we could do a run off with just the two entries? I'd hate to have to make up new rules on the fly though.
A suggestion was made in a previous contest to award a tie to the poster with the longest history of not winning. This seems like a fair way to alleviate many unbroken ties. I'd say go another 12 hours and give it to whomever has gone the longest without a win (or hasn't won). The only time this doesn't work is when we have two non-winners.
I'd be glad to volunteer to go through ChadH's posts in order to ascertain an order of winners if this is what we'd like to do.
Congrats Chicken Pocket

Congrats ChickenPocket! And congrats to Mrp as well
Also thanks to ChadH and seismic-2 for the votes for the Catman cover, and to Raffi for the hon. mention. (as well as for coming up with an intriguing theme!).
Looking forward to the new contest!
