    I'll echo that sentiment.

Also, there's another five-issue miniseries in the works too.

From your link to the Chris Roberson tweet -
When we get to the Silver Lantern Club/Private Occult Investigator era we'll definitely be alternating between longer arcs and short stories, but this arc and the next are both going to be five-parters.
This sounds long term... fingers (and tentacles) crossed!

    Two interesting things to mention.

    1. They are skipping 1883rd year. I was thinking, that they will cover every year, as with Lobster Johnson. I understand, that his career is far longer, but at least one-shot will be enough.
    2. Why have they changed Clem Robins on lettering? New one looks... ok, but still a foreign body.

It's still Clem Robins, but he's altered his lettering for D'Israeli's art. Actually, when Dark Horse was first showing the tease images for this series, the only thing that stopped me from immediately thinking Witchfinder was the lettering was clearly different from Robins's usual style for Mignola's books.

The art is looking great. I hope this series is as good as City of the Dead was, that's probably my favorite of the Roberson Mignolaverse stories.

Do I see an airship on the tpb cover? All right!

I can see we're all sprinting to buy this one, it's actually a pretty good start. I wish Witchfinder would find a permanent artist though like Tonci on LoJo, there's no coherent Witchfinder style - but if there was I wish it was Tyler Crook's inkwash. Definitely the best art of the series.

I thought this was pretty great, the connections to the modern day were fantastic.

    I liked #1 pretty well.
    spoilers:
The dialogue in the sequence where the Queen reviews Sir Edward's past adventures seemed a little stilted (although it was cool to see D'Israeli's take on past Witchfinder scenes), but overall the story was good. The transition from the panel of Sir Edward opening the letter on one page and then showing a huge panel of him kneeling before the Queen on the next page was very nice visual storytelling.
    end of spoilers
