I vote "NO". After the mess he's made of the Transformers, I don't want him near any other characters that I like.

Especially if he'd cast Marky Mark as Lobo.

and that is my main problem. how many INTENIONAL Comedies has he made?

srsly bay needs to leanrn the following lesson: "less is more" especially when it comes to spectacle and explosions.

A director specializing in shallow, vivid and loud adaptations adapting a character created as a parody of Xtreme! comicbook character trends. Kind of makes sense actually.

Can we get Sam Raimi instead? He handles great, action scenes, nasty gore, and can do it all with a slapstick three stooges style.

WB has some of the best Directors working as contractors for them and they choose Bay?

That's really surprising. Is he the best they could come up with?

I am hearing that WB want it to be DC's answer to Deadpool. That's so weird. Bay doesn't do funny films. The one good news i have heard is that Michael Bay wants to slash the budget from 200 million as WB wanted. If that's true then, WB wanted to spend 200 million on a Lobo film. That would be so insane.

I think Edgar right would be a better choice though

WB obviously does not care even a little bit about DCEU movies being good. You can tell from almost every single last decision they made.
You are assuming the Lobo movie will be part of the DCEU.

I'd rather Raimi direct a good character instead of a joke character.

Then why do they keep handing stuff to Snyder?

DC has Lobo in the Justice League of America right now. I'm betting a lot of folks who started reading comics since the 2000's don't know he's started as a spoof of Wolverine, Punisher, etc

Come to think of it, same thing happened with Magog joining the JSA...

I'd rather see a Lobo cartoon, on Adult Swim.

DC/WB can't be seriously considering letting the guy who turned the Transformers franchise into a laughing stock to tackle a DC movie. It's bad enough there's haters hating the DC movies, but this would seriously be suicide.
