Ryan Coogler, co-writer and director of the Black Panther movie, wanted to include Kraven The Hunter in the film, based on the villain's appearance in Priest's BP run. Because of Sony's role in the Spider-Man film rights, this was not possible. In retrospect, Coogler was unsure if Kraven would have worked in the movie that was made.

I’ve always said Kraven should become a recurring villain for T’Challa. Him and maybe Calypso would be good additions to his rogues gallery.

How about BP as the first villain in the Kraven movie with Spiderman as BP's flunky? Kraven the motion picture: Cat and the Spider!
