Hate if I'm destroying any dreams, but that picture above of Helen Slater as Supergirl has obviously photoshopped legs onto her picture.

It's kind of insulting to her, actually, as it porno-izes her.

I'm not sure whether that's photoshopped or not, but it's no more revealing than her actual costume was.

Probably one of my first crushes was ER II. Being Canadian and it being the 1960s all our money had Queen E--no other personage was seen on our currency (either paper or coin), just animals and plants and boats and buildings on the other side. And I would stare at the Queen's picture on the paper money with adoration. Her image was just so beautiful to me. I really adored her and she got me everything I wanted--soda pop, comic books, yo-yos, bubble gum cards, Charlie Brown books--who would not love someone who gave them so much?

Think she's already been mentioned, but I definitely remember Penny from Inspector Gadget as being one of my first crushes. Remember those little epilogue moments that were at the end of the episodes, when Inspector Gadget and the gang would teach a lesson? There was one particular scene where Penny was just sitting down with her legs straight and five or six year old me felt that something....really excitable about that .

Another crush I had literally changed my life. I remember being in the theater, watching Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and being totally transfixed with Zhang Ziyi:


Here was this unearthly and ethereally beautiful woman who did Kung Fu, flew through the air, and spoke perfect Chinese. I remember nearly crying on the car ride home because I felt totally inadequate to this woman. Next day, I firmly committed myself to learn everything about China and its language, culture, history, and martial arts, so in the event I would meet her, I wouldn't be a loser (still learning all those things by the way).

Finally, there's Chun Li from Street Fighter II. I remember thinking she was cute in the video game, but it was the animated movie were my interest in her piqued. I remember seeing her in a censored photo of her from that scene (and we all know that scene in a video game magazine, and have fallen in love with her ever since.
