Hello, Batfans of all shapes and forms. I've you ever wander in the might halls of the DC sub-forum, you lay have (un)heard of the mother version of this thread. But considering that Honor Guest is deeply rooted into the Batman corner of the DCU, I think it's worth it to duplicate the appreciation thread here. As always, if a moderator feel the need to erase this one, fine by me!

She’s one of the DC Universe’s deadliest assassins…and you’ve never heard of her. Super-strong, highly trained, armed with devastating and stealthy meta-human abilities, the Silencer is virtually invincible. Or at least she was. After decades as Leviathan’s chief assassin, Honor Guest put in her time and managed to get out with her skin intact. Now she lives a normal life with a normal family in a normal house on a normal street. But the past has come back to haunt her in the form of her old employer and a deadly new mission...and Talia Al Ghul won’t take no for an answer.

Created by artist John Romita Jr. and writer Dan Abnett as part of DC's New Age of Heros, spinning out of the Dark Knights: Metal event, Honor Guest, the Silencer, is an assassin on a mission.

I saw someone mention that Black Canary would be a suitable matchup due to their polar opposite powers. That's so obvious that I'll be disappointed if it doesn't happen.

That is a very interesting idea! I like it, especially since Canary has some connection to the League, I think, in the n52. Maybe that was just in the Future's End one shot.

The sticky part would be creating a reasonable situation for them to encounter each other. Not too difficult, but they don't exactly float in the same sorts of orbits, either.

Do we know what city Honor lives in? Even so, the Birds are international and far ranging - they just had their Paris story, after all. I don't think you'd need to stretch to far to get them in contact. (Not to mention I'd love to see ALL of the Birds popping up, since they need more exposure!)

Thanks ! I really like this preview. Honor is still struggling a lot in her fights (and also with her past behavior resurfacing, considering what she is thinking when dealing with Bloodvessel). I just wonder if we'll learn what her powers are beyond the zone of silence, since she seems stronger than a normal human.
