A qualifier. I haven't watched the older Bond films. I may have caught some scenes when they play on the telly. But the films i have watched starts from Goldeneye to present except Quantum of Solace.

Favorite Bond girl is Vesper Lynd by a mile.



Eva Green was great in the role. There was some real chemistry between her character and Bond. And it helped that the story was pretty good. There were a few others who were okay to fine. But my favorite Bond girl is Vesper Lynd.

Emma Frost...err...White Queen...err Miranda Frost from Die Another Day. Rosamund Pike would have been perfect as Emma Frost in an X-Men movie, but I'll take her rendition of the ice queen in a really shitty Die Another Day.

Can i take Johnny English 2? Surely its a Bond parody but i haven't seen Die Another Day in years to remember what her character was like. I enjoyed Johnny English films far better then most Bond films i have watched except for Skyfall, Casino Royale, Golden Eye and to an extent Tomorrow Never Dies. I liked her in Johnny English. And she as Emma Frost would be a fine choice.

Agreed. I also loved that she was clearly Bond's female mirror; not only in abilities, charm, and chicness, but in her tendency to take pleasure even from men that she was ruthlessly exploiting. If I had to pick only one Bond Girl as the best, it would be Fiona.

No love for Maud Adams? She was by far the better Bond girl in "Man with the Golden Gun" and of course was "Octopussy". She also had a short cameo in the San Francisco docks I think in View to A Kill. She also was somewhat more believable as Roger Moore's Bond girl in the film, in part because she was in her late 30's at the time and a bit closer in age to Moore than many of the other girls.

She's actually not the only Bond girl to appear as seperate characters in the films, although these ones are fairly minor.

Martine Beswick was both one of the fighting gypsy girls in "From Russia With Love", and the ill-fated Paula from "Thunderball".

Tsai Chin was Ling, the woman who helps fake Bond's death at the beginning of You Only Live Twice, and also one of the players in Casino Royale. In particular she's seen fairly early on in that film as well on Le Chiffre's yacht.

Valerie Leon plays the hotel receptionist in the Spy Who Loved Me who gives Bond and Anya their room and also flirty delivers a message from M in The Spy Who Loved Me. She plays a woman fishing in the Bahamas in Never Say Never Again (Not a "real" Bond film, I know) who inadvertantly saves Bond twice from Fatima Blush. She kind of did the same kind of somewhat B-movieish British horror movies and comedies that Caroline Munro also did.

She really all of that and you sum her up so well. She knew Bond's game with women and told him it wouldn't work this time. I do think Bond intentionally got her shot, put her in the path of that bullet, meaning she kinda was the first woman he killed.

I've only seen a couple of Caroline Munro movies. I don't think she ever got a Bond movie which is too bad because she would have been the hottest of them all.

I thought about Maud Adams, who has the most appearances. It was just that I didn't really remember any of the characters as a standout although, among all of us here with our varied ideas of what is attractive, every Bond girl will be deservedly mentioned.

Caroline played Naomi in The Spy Who Loved Me, who as mentioned before, was Bond's first real female kill (As other female henchmen had been killed either by other Bond girls, or killed indirectly or directly by the other villains for failure or betrayal) . Her wink at Bond from her helicopter was sort of referenced in SPECTRE.

Onatopp was so silly, I just couldn't stand that thigh squeeze. There is no way one person can kill another person with a thigh squeeze no matter how many thighmaster reps you do. Best you could do is break some ribs and maybe make a person a little sick to their stomach, and it wouldn't work from that "on top" position. It didn't even look real, no matter how hard she squinted!!

Yeah... I have to agree... Eva Green is a spectacular actress, she kills it in everything she's in... and this --IMO-- was the best Bond movie...

... the name I'm surprised that no one has mentioned, is Michelle Yeoh's Wai Lin from Tomorrow Never Dies... it wasn;t a great flick, but she is a legit badass
