    Lucky you!

It's a wonderful piece of art - with a Sienkiewicz trying some experiment but not yet in the style he will be known for.

I didn't think twice when I read the new theme! (It also kind resume my feelings toward the Valentine's day...)

Here is my entry for this contest.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Can't find any good covers. So I am posting these stained glass renderings of classic comic covers.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Found one, with a little help from a friend.

Have to say it again, what a great topic! So many of the covers posted so far have been exquisite.

I'm wondering how Iron Maiden's search of a stained glass cover of Victor von D is going

    The bells, the bells!

Cover art by none other than ... Gil Kane!

I've not had a chance to go searching yet. I thought there might be a variant out there...

But maybe this is what I'm remembering. This comes from James Robinson's run with art by Tom Grummett. The search will go on this weekend, after I see Black Panther.

Of all the uniforms the FF wore over the years, these were far and away the shittiest.
