It beat frozen. Fourth highest grossing movie of all time in America.
Saw it a third time this weekend. Love this film so much.
The scene where Killmonger breaks T'Challa and throws him over the cliff is everything a live action Bane/Batman scene should have been. And I still get goosebumps when T'Challa returns. "I never yielded!"
I love that T'Challa is a such a thoroughly decent human being through and through who wants to make the world a better place through technology and diplomacy. The film's conclusion (both the Oakland scene and the UN mid-credits) give me that same feeling I got when Christopher Reeve would fly around the world and then wave at the camera. Such beautiful optimism.
In case you thought the movie was done setting trends
‘Black Panther’ expected to be first film shown in Saudi Arabian cinema after 35-year ban lifts
This just isn't true. It was the Emoji movie in January, then Captain Underpants. No idea why this is being misreported every where. It's just the first movie screening at the new permanent theatre.
