Default "Be Prepared" Will Not Be In The Live Action Lion King Movie

Disney has seen enormous success in its live-action adaptations of classic animated film, with the recent Beauty and the Beast becoming the second-highest grossing of 2017. But their next remake will be very different from the movie fans first fell in love with.

Superstar musician Elton John teamed with theater legend Tim Rice for the original soundtrack to The Lion King. And though they're reuniting for the live-action remake due to hit theaters in 2019, they will only be using four of the original songs from that beloved soundtrack.
John confirmed the news to The Sun, though he added that he and Rice will be working on a new song for Beyoncé that will go along with the film's closing credits.

"They need to have a new end credits song," said John. "There’s going to be four of our songs in the film, from the original: 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight?' 'Hakuna Matata,' 'I Just Can’t Wait To Be King,' and 'Circle of Life'. And then there will be an end, closing song, and we’ve been speaking to Beyoncé’s people and hopefully Tim and I and her can cook up something. That’s going out in 2019 as well. And it will be great to work with her. So we will see."

While they are including the four main hit songs that many people already have committed to memory, the lack of inclusion of "Be Prepared" might come as bad news for many fans.

Four songs are enough. I only remember 'Hakuna Matata' and 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight' anyway.

A villain singing about his intentions in "live" action would come off as odd. I wouldn't mind a score of the song played as his theme whenever he is on screen.

I didn't even remember that this new movie was a thing.

So, instead of an animation movie we are going to get a full cgi movie or are animal characters replaced by humans?

That sucks but I understand why it was left out if it would seem cheesy in live action. Also, who only seen lion king once????!!!!! It’s only one of ( if not the best) Disney movie of all time. I own it on blu ray and have watched it many times since I saw it as a kid in 94.

Is it really "live action" at that point? There weren't any humans in the story...

I know right? I kinda fail to see the point of that movie.

Well, that's easy money of course for the evil mouse but beside that...
