    Random thoughts:

I feel T'Challa's pain on that Black Panther variant cover. I too had lopsided armrests on a chair recently, and wondered if I could just with it. Also, I like mostly like Daniel Acuna's art on the right series, and I think he's good at dark sci-fi especially, but an entire series with him? Eh...

"Captains Marvel" just sounds cool for some reason.

So... that Adamantium Agenda variant... is the redhead supposed to be Jessica Jones? Because... lol, how do you screw that up? Or is that Black Widow for some reason (who I could've sworn has green eyes, but Marvel wiki says they're blue)?

The Greg Land covers are less... porn-y and obviously traced, but still, him? Really, Marvel? Also, I take back the porn-y bit, because I just saw the AStonishing X-Men cover.

Wait, #800 isn't the end of Slott's run?! Why don't the connecting variants end there?

So... is Duggan ending his Deadpool run? Not gonna lie, his run is one of the few times I've liked Deadpool, both as a character and series. It didn't start off too strong, but he got there. No clue what the consensus is on Deadpool being villainous again though, I just know that I personally am not keen on it, though I haven't read it yet. But that sort of return to the status quo (even if it is part of Legacy (which I totes initially typed as Rebirth)) is part of what makes me think his run is wrapping up

That Invincible Iron Man #600 cover is... underwhelming, to say the least. Probably just needed a different artist, because the composition is good. Although, the lack of Rescue kinda bugs me.

"Shield: The Rebirth"? Also, I only read the first series a few months ago, so this couldn't be timed better. Now hurry up and get the hardcover of this entire series out! And preferably skip the first one in that hardcover just so I don't have to buy it twice.

Are... are we sure that's Stefano Caselli doing that Champions #20 cover? Because... yikes, Amadeus' face looks very... Land-ish... or mid-2000s Salvador Larroca.

I loved Ramon Perez on Nova, but on Thor? Um... I'll have to wait and see.

Seeing that Spider-Man #240 cover... did Goldballs lose a ton of weight, because... yeah. Also, no clue who the dude in the back is. Also also, Miles right leg... ummmm. Man, I really need to catch up on Miles trades. I've put it off for way too long.

Obviously Old Man Deadpool and Old Man Spidey just wanna clean Ben up a little. Dude needs some maintenance :P

Holy crap, the War Punisher thing is still going?

Still don't trust Zdarsky to write Doom acting kinda heroic again in Marvel 2-In-One #6. Doom's 180 is seriously annoying.

That Daredevil #603 cover... the long-awaited return of... Vapora!

    So... Runaways... Doombot?

So... is Rise of the Black Panther a sort of retelling of previous stories? And this is the Hudlin parts?

That Cable Cover... I like Daniel Warren Johnson, but that is not nice to look at. Also, if Marvel are gonna give him some work, that'd be great, since I've mostly enjoyed Extremity, despite it being fairly predictable in places.

Ummm... Domino... umm.... yeah, they know what they're doing with that outfit.

The reason Magik is so chill on taht NEw Mutants cover? She can just teleport them out! Also, thought the lights above her head were, like, a machine possessing monster or something at first... I'm tired, shush.

I find Phil Noto to be a mixed artist, but X-Men Gold #27... I thought that was Iceman for a bit.

So... Old Man Logan has a boneclaw hand... he's gonna be dead/gone by the end of the year, isn't he? Oh well, enjoyed him while he was here (mostly).

So, All-New Wolverine... is it ending? Eh, Laura's on X-Men: Red, and Taylor's writing that. Though Idno who that spiky girl i. I thought she was Emma at first, but nope. I wonder if this arc will actually be a play on things and Laura will kill whoever she's "saving" or something. Also, that Gabby cover is adorable.

Oh, so Havok is still evil from Axis!

So Weapon H is basically that one fucked up Bionicle you made as a kid by combining all the ones you had together by this point, right?

I still can't see Donald Glover as Lando. I just expect Sweatpants to start playing when I see him.

Just realised... Defenders ended! Well... that was a thing I guess.

I don't think Weapon X Vol. 3's cover is supposed to look as goofy as it does xD

Wait, Dakota North was an actual character with a series?! I just know her from Ed Brubaker's Daredevil run! I guess... huh. What a weird thing to randomly collect. Maybe she'll be in something soon. She'd fit okay in Jessica Jones, I guess. Or maybe she'll be in Daredevil season 3, whenever that comes out (and hopefully isn't as wonky as season 2). Who knows, maybe she'll fill Karen's role in the original Born Again arc.

That Todd Nauck poster... fuck, man. Someone please find him so I don't have to xD

Again, what is with CBR and posting solicitations twice on one page?

Rise is sort of like a "Year One" story, but covering more than one year. It's filling in the gaps or streamlining previously eluded to stories from the end of T'chaka's reign to the beginning of FF #52.

This issue will streamline the Claremont, Priest, and Dickey stories down into one conformed version of T'challa and Storm's first meeting.

It's been really good so far, and a lot of fans not taken by Coates current run have found it refreshing.
    Pull List:

Marvel Comics: Venom, X-Men, Black Panther, Captain America, Eternals, Warhammer 40000.
    DC Comics: The Last God
