Charo is quite talented. It's a shame that most people only know her as the "cuchi cuchi" lady

That guitar riff sounds like Edgar Winter or something and by the time we get to the chorus with the horns and what not it's Blood Sweat and Tears...

It wasn't Agatha, it was Butch all along! Novelty from 82 or 83-ish featuring actor Butch Patrick who played Eddie from the old Munsters TV show

Having said that...the late 70's, early 80's were a weird time in the sense that there were a number of top 40 songs that were TV theme songs...

The music for Miami Vice and Magnum P.I. also made it onto the charts.

It's not as uncommon as you think. There are several in every decade.

I think the 90's was the last time you really had that ( although there might be a recent example I'm not thinking of). I don't think it's as much of a thing anymore. In the early 2000's TV shows had fewer extended theme songs ( allegedly to cut down on channel surfing). A lot of times shows just sort of start.

Not James's most iconic moment. If it weren't for his presence and the high production values, this song would be unintentional self parody.
