"Kyrie" and "Return To Innocence" were already posted in the happy songs thread and I might as well admit to loving Enya and owning a collection or two.
Is it just me or do parts of this song sound like "Love Shack" by the B-52?
I'm not embarrassed for the different styles of music that I like and enjoy. Almost noone I know is into or even know who Vangelis is, but I adore his music. I also enjoy some opera and plenty of classical music on occasion. Some think that music is for 'old people' but I disagree.
I also really enjoy jazz fusion music like Chuck Mangione and Spyro Gyra. I don't know anyone who does.. and I don't care lol. They really missing out.
edit: Movie and show scores and some songs like Star Trek and Doctor Who are so great and l love listening to them. I feel pretty alone in this in real life, but at least I know other geeks like me exist somewhere haha.
Not embarrassed at all...I actually have nostalgic feelings about hanging out with my mom in the kitchen and this song coming on the radio...
Seals and Crofts
Naming your song "Lady" was just the thing at time...Styx, Kenny Rogers, and Kool and the Gang all had songs with that title. This is the Little River Band..
"How does the Green Goblin have anything to do with Herpes?" - The Dying Detective

Sha Na Na with Chuck Berry!

This song is referenced in an 80's Avengers comic when Hank Pym is in jail and Tony Stark starts seeing Janet Van Dyne. They sing it to each other while they're on a date.

Ethel
Believe it or not Ethel Merman did a disco album around 1979.
I like The Real McCoy.
The Coswills are the real life group that loosely inspired the Partridge Family TV series.
