Here's the Brady Kids covering that same song. Their version starts around 19:00-ish

It's a pity that Merman didn't get the movie role. Rosalind Russell was fine, and played the domineering Mama well, but she was a talker/shouter more than a singer. No one could belt it out like Merman.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

I almost forgot that they did a remake of Rocky Horror a few years back. It aired on Fox TV and included a faux audience participation bit where the camera would pull back occasionally and you'd see a crowd in a "movie theatre" doing stuff they did at the midnight shows in the 70's-80's ( throwing toilet paper, shouting dialogue, etc).

I'm not an expert on Panic! At The Disco but this is a quite moving version of the RH opening

Joan Jett covering the same. It almost sounds like T-Rex perhaps?

Oh...these photos are from the mid-70's, but the audio is from 2003.

I love this song, but these kids do not look poor! I live in a mixed race mixed-class urban neighborhood! And these are the kids I see everyday. Yeah, there's some homeless folks around, but don't get me started on all the Starbucks there are here. These children look pretty lower to mid-middle class at best.

A dear friend of mine (recently passed) and his daughter were huge Dresden Dolls fans. Every time they attended a concert, I would ask them to ask Amanda to tell her husband to get off his ass and finish Miracleman.

I'm sure a lot of the stuff I like is 'unhip' by today's standards. Seems everything today is rap nowadays (which I like some rap, just not the drugged out soundcloud junk- gimmie some Twizid, Snoop or BonesSESH and I'm down.)

I'm sure stuff like Motley Crue and Godsmack are probably not considered cool but by most ppl with a taste for rock music probably think they are allright.

I think if there is anything that I would actually be embarrassed to admit to liking it would probably Florence and the Machine. Idk why I like it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SK6U...PatriciaTurmei

Hey, as long as you're not addicted to songs like "The Wheels on the Bus" or to songs from Air Supply, . . .

I can go on and on about my favorite Petula. This is arguably the most famous video she has ever appeared in. Check at 4:08.
