The possibility that they might not actually be giants has never really been considered.

Speaking of Abba...Bjorn Again is sort of an Abba tribute/homage band. Here, in answer to Erasure doing an Ep of Abba covers, BA covers a big hit of Erasure's...

This video is awesome because if you didn't know better, you'd think it actually was a clip of Abba from 1978

I was going to post a different version of this Kylie song, but hey...we're all comics fans here right?

This video is fun, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that somebody at Warner Bros ( or whoever controls the Hanna Barbara IPs) approved to license the official images of the Splits for a horror movie.

Don't know why, but I've always liked this Andy Gibb song:

My wife and I saw Barry Manilow in concert in 1978.
It's probably a toss up between Barry and Frankie Avalon as the most uncool concert we've been to.
Orpheus, Janis Joplin (last concert before her death), Eric Clapton, and Journey, are some others seen live so I guess my taste in music is fairly eclectic.

This song was loved by my mother.
It should have been a great big hit.
Instead it had a short shelf life,
And they said it sounded like...

One Hit Wonders Deep Blue Something

Considering the actual "Breakfast At Tiffany's" movie, I'm glad I saw it as a middle aged adult. I don't think I would have appreciated it as a younger person.

So, what's interesting is that there were a few "new wave"/pop acts that had hits that also were popular as novelty tunes (i.e. "Johnny Are You Queer" sung buy Josie Cotton but written by the Go-Gos). I have to admit that the first time I heard this song by The Waitresses was on the Dr Demento Show. Not long after, they did the theme song to the TV Show Square Pegs

This one was fun the first time, but it doesn't work well for repeat plays.
