I liked this song better than "Bette Davis Eyes".

The original. Katy needs to get off the bandwagon.

This is one of the most over used songs ever in regards to to movies, tv shows, commercial etc...like it's in diaper ads even...but, I'll admit to buying it on vinyl in the 80's...and The Bangles covered the song "Liverpool" on their record during the same time...

I actually own the movie this song is from as well as it's more popular "sequel" directed by Russ Meyer. And for whatever reason "All About Eve" is on the same DVD.

For what it's worth Harlan Ellison worked on the screenplay for Valley of the Dolls.

For those who may not appreciate the classics and inspiration, here's the song for the current generation. I regret not getting the history of the song when I saw this on TV.

While this is fairly common knowledge, it's always worth pointing out that this tune was written by former The Soft Boys member Kimberley Rew.

The term 'guilty pleasure' could probably apply to the Spice Girls' entire catalog, but out of all their songs, I'll pick "Who Do You Think You Are?" because of its retro disco sound (and the line 'giving is good, as long as you're getting'):

EDIT: and now I ended up listening to the album tracks off Spice, 'Love Thing', 'Something Kinda Funny', 'Last Time Lover'...

I have seen people say that Bon Jovi is uncool and I don't know what they are talking about. Bon Jovi is awesome.

    Also, this song:

“Somewhere, in our darkest night, we made up the story of a man who will never let us down.”

    - Grant Morrison on Superman
