Yeah... hence part of my embarrassment. Like this song but will never get her as a human being.

Basically, New Kids exists because the mgr for New Edition had a falling with that group and out of spite formed a similar pop group with white kids

Kid with the hat is angry family guy on "Blue Bloods" TV show. His brother is often angry white guy in a number of action movies.

Probably has something to do with that they are totally awesome. In addition, Cindy's brother Ricky did write some "All Time Champ" hooks.

Roy Thomas actually referenced James Taylor in an old issue of The Avengers. I can't remember the exact number ( it might have been during the Kree/Skrull war). Iron Man or somebody says something like, "I've seen fire and I've seen rain, but this..."
