I actually think Jean is a character that would mesh well with a number of Characters outside of the X-Verse. I do think Jean is attracted to heroism, so I could see her being drawn to Steve Roger's. Johnny Storm, again for the visuals and he has usually had a carefree attitude that I could see appealing to Jean. I've read a little more of Jean in the months leading up to resurrection and she has a kind of self-deprecating sense of humor.

Other Gentlemen I could see Jean become acquainted with are, Bruce Banner, Clint Barton, Thor and Doctor Strange. I think X-Men Red showed Jean can be a viable and compelling character when allowed to tread new ground. I think she should be allowed ties to the wider MU. I think I want Jean with a non-mutant.

So in terms of Real Love, I don't think that's something Jean's had or experienced yet.

Clint Barton and Jean Grey...? Sure, why not?

It may work if you were reading it on real time, because when I started comics Jean was already dead, Scott dating Emma.

1-I think some people overstimate marvel's attachment to the jean/scott relationship. it's zero, none, nothing. if they cared for it, marvel wouldn't have done all the horrible things they did to it. I totally expect Jean to be rushed in a relationship (nothing wrong with starting again but i dont like the rushed part).
marvel will also probably push tyke/bloodstorm in the most horrible way, just to make more jean fans hate scott and love jimmy. that's the only reason they teased jott in blue, to rewrite their story and break them again.

2- jean/logan can and probably will happen but if it last or not that's a totally different thing.

3- I understand this final point and i have nothing to say because you are right. i wish things weren't that way but they were.

I'm totally shocked. Cyclops belong with Emma. The two of them are more aligned seeing they tend to lean towards the dark evil side. And Emma with Jean over Logan?? Lolol Jean deserves to give her romance with Logan a try they were made for each other.

the people who broke up Jean/Scott aren't in charge anymore. It is clear it changed, we would never have phoenix ressurrection romantic nosense if things hadn't changed on favor of Jott.
Endsong has some familirities, and it was anti-jott. It was done by the old editorial. So I'm sure things are different now.

Marvel painted itself on a corner with the teen O5, things have to change for better or worse.

A new romance for Jean is very unlikely to get on a new romance. Editor was too defensive because of a fan tweeting about captain america. He really let very clear where he stands

They already had that chance and they completely killed it by killing Jean. So I don't think it will happen now

I feel like Clint's world weariness, coupled with Jean's earnest optimism would make for a very interesting relationship. I think Jean is a good counterpoint to gritty, earthy guys. Did you ever read that one-shot written by Scott Lobdell that centered on Jean and Grifter from WildCats? He was much more bare-knuckled and even experienced in terms of espionage, but Jean was lively, daring and genuine. It made for a very entertaining dynamic and they had awesome romantic chemistry.

Well, he's the artist right? I'm hoping Taylor doesn't agree with him. I don't think Jean NEEDS a romance right now as it seems like she's going to be quite busy in X-Men Red but, she's also a character who I think shines when part of the story involves her personal life. Despite so much Phoenix nonsense, as a character, in terms of who she is, she's surprisingly down to earth in some ways and over the top in others.

I am both a Cyclops fan and Jean fan as well as Cyclops/Jean relationship fan, and so I am very pleased with the results

Even the end of Phoenix: Resurrection has confirmed that. Cyclops loved/loves Jean more than Emma. There is no comparison.
