I don't think I've seen a new film of his in years but I'm still a fan of the dude's. A really funny storyteller, a really decent-seemingly dude and, though I have no idea how they hold up now, someone who made a bunch of movies that I really loved when I was younger.

Hope he gets better and stays better.

Say what you will about his content, but he is probably one of the most genuine people in the industry. He is never someone who got big headed because people knew who he was and he never pretends that he's more than someone who is just lucky to be able to do something he loves.

The internet is an important communications tool people use to bitch about movies and share well-wishes to Kevin Smith

This was the first thing I heard about this morning... I'm just glad he's doing okay... Kevin Smith is among my favorite humans... Jay & Silent Bob's secret stash is my regular comic shop... I'll probably drop in this week.... also, one of the producers on Comic Book Men is hosting NJ Horror Con & film fest this weekend... I should be able to get updates and report back here

Kevin had a nice Facebook live thing where he talked about what went on this morning and looked and sounded like he was doing pretty good.

When my brother had a heart attack at 45 the doctors told him flat out that the smoking more than his weight was the major cause of his attack. I have known 5 people that have had attacks in their 40's and all of them were smokers.

Dang. He's fortunate to be alive. Prayers go out to him for quick recuperation.
