It sounds like the office really wants to use him after the miniseries ends as well, so I'm hoping there will be an X-Factor book to spin out of this (very similar to how PAD's modern X-Factor book emerged from a 5-issue Multiple Man miniseries). And this book will consist of Jamie and other characters from Rosenberg's New Mutants miniseries.

I'm extremely excited and it looks like they will be utilizing the noir + comedy genre mix. I also love the art-- it's very expressive and human.

Yeah a new X Factor book would be great. I'd like someone besides David to write it. Spencer would be cool, "Superior Foes" had similarities to X Factor. Or Zdarsky if they wanted to go with a more humorous approach.

Anyway, an other dead x character coming back to life... This is ridiculous. Why Marvel allow writers to kill characters to Bring them back. At this point almost every character has been dead an resurrected. Just don't kill them. Send them to limbo. Put them in a coma, make them misteriously disappear. But stop killing them. It's overdone and stupid.

I'll probably check this out. Can't say that I really approve of Marvel's everybody gets a mini strategy though. The timing is also weird, we know Marvel is planning a new X-Factor book from an interview with Ahmed. I assumed it would be a part of the Fresh Start relaunch but if they wait to launch until after this mini wraps it won't be out until December at the earliest.

If Zdarsky was telling the truth about 2-in-1 lasting 12 issues, then neither will Fantastic Four. Fresh Start will roll out gradually over the rest of the year.

Did it really take someone at a meeting raising their hand and asking ‘what if Multiple Man isn’t dead?’ For them to bring him back? I mean, numerous fans called the plot hole of him even being dead ranging from why he was even there and not with Layla, the fact that none of the Jamie’s had the M tattoo and that it’s not the first time a dupe that died thought it was the original. It was never a hard issue bringing him back.
