Cosmic Ghost Rider Taking a Solo Ride This Summer

Thursday Marvel Comics revealed to Direct Market retailers that the recently introduced Cosmic Ghost Rider will star in his own limited series this summer written by his creator Donny Cates - no artist has been named.. Here's a first look at a new teaser image introducing the series from Marvel that Newsarama readers get to see first.

An alt-future Frank Castle, his transition into Cosmic Ghost Rider is being revealed in this week's Thanos #16.

Originally introduced in Cates and Geoff Shaw's debut on Thanos back in November's #13, Cosmic Ghost Rider has proven to be one of the most popular new characters (or new variations on an older character, rather) in recent months.

Marvel has plenty of characters and only give chances of solos or ongoing books to new characters created just some months ago.

Exactly. Poor Alejandra.
She was a few years ahead of her time. If she had come out a few years ago Marvel would've pushed her hard with Kamala, Sam & Amadeus. There would be talk about how it's time for a lead female Ghost Rider. Instead she was cast aside too quickly.
She is ripe for further exploration. I had hoped she wold land in Fearless Defenders at the time after her 9 issue title ended but that didn't happen. Not A-Force a few years late either. The right writer is out there to give her the prominence she justly should've gotten.

I'm mildly curious about it but will pick it up in TPB in the Fall.
