Oh, yes, Emmaphobic, here we go.
And that's why, when he comes back, Scott should stay away from Jean Grey.

I think the point is more that Jean could have produced more consensus and positive PR for Scott's leadership than Emma could. She probably could have moderated some of Scott's less successful ideas. No offense to Emma but bridge building wasn't exactly a strength of hers, nor was moderating Scott. Regardless of your shipping preferences I think you have to agree that's true.

Why, Zombie Scott's little brain can't function on its own?

Whereas in recent years a lot of characters was completely thrown under the bus so Marvel could fulfill a pro-Avengers and pro-Inhumans agenda, Jean fans should be relieved to hear that she was dead during and after the Schism, AvX, EXM, DoX and IvX.

Any character, at any time, can be thrown under the bus.
Wanda, Xavier, Scott, Beast, Logan, Emma, Storm, Kitty and even Jean.

the hardcore Jean fans needs to keep this in mind... always.
    that's all.

No one should ever lead in an absolute vacuum. The benefit of wise counsel is always helpful.

Yes. He created a council of X-men power players to help him. He specifically went to Storm to help keep him in line. He only isolated and didnt ask for help in Bendis run but he was open to leadership advice in Gillen's run

Flipping your finger to the worlds nations as you threaten them is not how you build bridges.

In the San Francisco and later Utopia era he did consult the other X-Men a lot.

Remember the get togethers with him, Emma, Storm, Colossus, Namor, Beast, Magneto, Rogue and Wolverine?

With almost every threat they discussed how to handle it.

After Schism he continued with that together with Emma, Namor en Magneto.

So IMO he did not do all by himself.

Because they were demonstrably worse at decision making than he was?

    That was exactly my point.

It doesn't matter, though. He's dead. And Jean is already ballsdeep in her own UN mess. They both should have consulted Claremont's Storm. She knows how to broker deals with the UN.

I'd rather be thrown under the bus rather than thrown on a bus and blown up.

That was still some of the most crappy showings of Cyke and Emma to this day.

Well, Ford also supported the Nazis, so maybe we shouldn't take his ideas on leadership too seriously.
