I think Peter would be better off without May because then he wouldn't have to worry about her learning about his secret identity and he can go all out super-hero without her wondering where Peter is at times.

I think the better story would be of her falling ill and passing away and Peter dealing with that type of loss. Not being killed.

I actually liked when JMS had her find out his identity. It was a nice way to move forward and get them closer. I hate that it was removed. Having her in his life instead of just sitting there and wondering where Pete went off to was nice. I felt that due to that, there's been an awkwardness to using her lately. Also, with OMD still fresh in my memory, I'm incredibly weary of treading that path again soon. Even if it's natural and peaceful, we'll still have to deal with months upon months of Pete processing and recovering from that.

Well as much as I like May, I wouldn't mind her being gone at this point. IF they replace her with someone else Peter has to be concerned about, like a wife. He needs a dependent in his life, someone normal and relatively helpless who the villains can target.
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
No? What long term story benefits would that serve?
No, if only because they'll bring her back anyway.
Kill her as dead as Batman's parents? Sure, go for it.
At this point, after all the trouble to keep her alive, I'd say no... Or at the very least not anytime soon. I do wish writers gave her more to do (like JMS did), however. (Edit: And as others said, even if it happened there's a decent chance she would just be brought back ⁻ᵃᵍᵃᶦᶰ⁻.)

She'd never stay dead and I don't want another Aunt May resurrection story.
Yes either killed or passed away I don’t care really how but I do believe it needs to happens. I don’t see her purpose now really
Killing her would only mean that someone else would bring her back, they can just instead throw her in limbo.
