The issue is Lou Kang is actually serious. Hitomi best fear is fighting a guy who can kick a dinosaur away.

I think that I would lean towards Liu Kang, unless Hitomi is in the Ninja Gaiden power/speed tier. Game mechanics alone, Liu Kang's fireballs and flying kick give him a serious advantage at both range and at hit and run.
