I'm soooo hyped for this. I loved the Sandman series. Mike Carey's Lucifer will remain my favourite vertigo series. I'm getting them all, can't wait. August seems so far away.

My wife just did a little dance; Gaiman's Sandman is what I used to get her into comics. We are very, very excited for all of this.

This announcement will likely rock my sister's world. I'm long overdue for ever reading any Sandman stuff. I mean I know scant little about it. What little I know is when the stuff shows up in DC stuff that I read - Morrison's JLA ... Justice League Dark ... that time Lex Luthor met Death.
Good on Bilquis Evely because she's sooooooo good and I had a short list of things I wanted to see her work on but this is like a bit one for her to get so I'm like "eh, I can wait to see her on the books I'd like to see her on."Retro315 no more. Anonymity is so 2005.

I'm interested. I hope they keep the lgbtiq characters or better yet give them a higher profile.
