Default How close are you to having read/bought everything that you interests you?

Are you caught up in your reading?

Do you still need to read Hama Wolverine?
    Or Whedon’s run?
    Or Claremont New Mutants?

The one big hole in my reading is X-Factor. The original run.
I have read some of the David stories though.

I really don’t think I’ll be reading those either. Or the really old school Lee and Kirby issues.

So after reading comics for 20 years now, I think I am caught up!

I wish I had more time to read comics but unfortunately, adult life is catching up to me. Wish I was still in my teens and university days where all I have to worry about was school work!

I'm 100% caught up. Have every issue of X-Men, X-Factor, Excalibur, X-Force, Weapon X-, Exiles, Generation X, solo titles, etc etc. It's nice not having to look for back issues anymore. Now, I just buy the new stuff.

I coudlnt appreciate Excalibur, X-Factor and New Mutants when it came out. I was bored by it or offended because it was something different from my X-Men. Today i catch up on it.

The only comics I've ever wanted to be a completeist on were the Ultimate Universe, and I did that. Now I'm slowing buying them all in TPB format so I can display them. Although sometimes it's tough because there are annuals and 1/2 issues that are only reprinted in certain formats so....
    You brought back Wolverine

Yeah pretty much. I've enjoyed being able to rebuy all this material in the wonderful omnibus and OHC's we've been getting over the past few years. There's always going to be more material I want on those formats (looking at you, Seagle and Kelly) but they're getting there, and in the meantime I've always got my old issues of this stuff if I really want to give it a read again, plus there's always the trade paperbacks, which I buy too.

I can't think of anything I'm really missing. I have got the last 2 Wolverine Epic Collections still in my reading pile, along with the first volume of X-Factor, but I'll get around to them one day.

    - Hellboy (the omnibuses are comming soon)
    - Sandman
    - some Ghostrider
    - TMNT
    - lots of Marvel and DC events
    - Watchmen
    - lots of French/European Comics
    - Akira
    - a few missing Daredevil
    - I want to read all Batman (but I still far from it)
    - Swamp Thing by Moore
    - Saga
    - I need to finish Transmetropolitan
    - I need to finish Hellblazer
    - Fable
    - Donald Duck by Carl Barks
    - Mickey Mouse by Floyd Gottfredson
    - Valiant Comics
    - ...

You kidding??? Not even in a thousand lives I would be able to read everything that interests me, even though I spent sort of half of every day reading.

Much less to buy it* (where could I possibily keep it?).

*Libraries, relatives and friends are the best!

For Deadpool anyway, I've read and own everything in one format or another. But I would really like to have Kelly's omnibus as well as the Cable and Deadpool omnibus so they all look nicer on my shelf.

But nowhere near everything for any other character. Damn near impossible and too expensive.
