I love the idea of taking tired, old properties that no longer hold up, and re-imagining them into this era of television.... as such, this'll be fun I think

I agree. When they do it right it can work very very well. Just look at Battlestar Galactica. On the other hand when they do it wrong it can be an epic disaster like the The Munsters Today, and even that trainwreck of a show got 3 seasons.

    I prefer imagining to re-imagining.

Liked the trailer, the show seems right up my alley. Looking forward to it!

Very glad Netflix is coming out with quality original content more and more recently.

The actress playing Judy is 24. The actor playing Don is 36. I'll be interested to see if they pair the two of them or if he ends up with Smith (probably not)

They wasted selma blair on a cameo but that scene between her and Posey was brilliant.

24 playing 18 but already a Doctor. Looks like they are going to have some kind of will they won't they with them.

Surely you didn't expect the Guy and June interpretation out of today's filmmakers.

What I've heard about this show is that the showrunners are hacks but the staff writers are pretty good... so the show starts off weak with the opening eps written by the showrunners, then gets better, then falls apart again when the showrunners step in again for the season finale.

This just doesn't appeal to me, anyway. I hate the idea of reboots, and considering this show only seems to retain the vague general premise and some proper names from the original series, what's the point? Just give the characters different names and you've got yourself an original show. That's not so hard, is it?

It is if you own some IP and need to show investors that it's generating ROA.

My biggest problem was the expanded cast for the majority of the episodes and the fixed location.

We now have the answer to the question of what would happen if you made a show with three Wesley Crushers. I'm only four episodes in, but Parker Posey's Smith feels too...conflicted. I also don't like the fact that she is just a run of the mill conwoman. I would have preferred that she had some kind of backstory as a disgraced scientist.
