Default Comicbook.com ranks the top ten Spider-Man supporting characters

Comicbook.com had a list of the top ten Spider-Man supporting characters.

    http://comicbook.com/comics/2018/03/...acters-ranked/

I think they got the top ones right. And in the right order.

There are some interesting omissions, although these might be characters who are also sometimes antagonists.
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

I pretty much agree with the top 7, though I think the glaring omissions are probably Harry and Felicia (if you count her as a supporting character).

And dang, I forgot Max's husband was pretty good looking .

Mostly agree, though I feel like Ben Urich was ranked too high. I also think Harry should have made it in somewhere. And Aunt May/Mary Jane should have been higher than JJJ IMO.

Ben Urich, Anna and Max Modell don't belong on this list, lol. Thats just goofy. And all ahead of Uncle Ben, no Harry, no Felicia, no Eddie Brock, and so on. A blind monkey with ticks and a hundred mice dancing on its head would make better choices.

I enjoy Ben and Peter's dynamic but I definitely think there should be characters above him when it comes to Spidey supporting characters.

Ben Urich's a great supporting character. He's a great Daredevil supporting character. His role in the Spider-Man comics is rather limited, mainly to being a veteran Bugle reporter.

Bendis did some interesting stuff with him in Spidey but that was in other character' titles (Daredevil and the Pulse.)

I don't know about the bottom half of that list; I really like Anna Maria but she was a fantastic supporting character for SpOck and less so for Peter (but still a good addition. Modell is interesting and brings something to the title but just not enough to crack the Top 10. Also, Ben Urich ranked way too high; there is little he offers in the book that Robbie doesn't already provide.

Can't say I agree with the list (there are a lot of characters after my time and quite a few key characters are pretty low), but top tens are always the opinions of the compiler, so I don't really get the point of arguing over them; the author is perfectly correct about what he thinks.
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."
X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."

No he's not. He's wrong and someone needs to educate him!

I agree the bottom half is pretty weak and I wouldn't put Urich in the top ten, although he might be pretty close. Gwen, Captain Stacy, Harry, Felicia, Jean DeWolf (ehh...maybe) and what about Mrs. Muggins????

I stopped caring about that kind of thing a long time ago.

It's amusing to me that I literally knew what this reply was going to be before even clicking on it lol
