Lol, Zeus is going to get skewered and it's going to be great.

Of the male Gods, Hermes and Hephaestus may be the only ones who come out of this being decent. Apollo is already confirmed to act like a spoiled little ****. Hades I'm not so sure about, he may be opposing the goddesses considering they don't seem to be having an easy time of it in the Underworld. But Demeter appears to be talking to him, possibly to appeal to him, so maybe he will come around. Based on the myths, he should be more reasonable than his brothers.

I mean Hades is generally one of the good reasonable male gods. Plus his wife in most myths she is strong and powerful. Unlike Hera and Zeus, Hades and Persephoneare generally equals. In fact Persephone had her own worshipers and was seen has powerful by many

Even though his place has been taken by Hecate, I'm kind of hoping Hermes is still on, relatively, good terms with the Amazons. I thought he was a decent supporting character in Perez's run.

His place was not taken because he never participated in the creation of the Amazons.

Ah, thanks. Got that mixed up with Diana's creation.

Hermes transported some of the goddesses to the Underworld in Perez's first issue and was in on their plan, though he didn't participate in the grand birth itself.

We might see something similar here. He may initially help get them down to the Underworld but for whatever reason they have to do most of it without him.

You know, I was never fully convinced that Hermes participated in the birth of Diana, I suppose in some way to give her the power to fly, but I wish they were all goddesses.
On the other hand, although Hermes was an important secondary in George Perez's run, he is a character that I tended to hate, he was a very very intense guy.

I don't think it's Diana. The description on Instagram says "Hippolyta makes an impossible choice". That plus the sequence of panels suggests that Hippolyta is giving up this child.

I'm not sure it is even Hippolyta's child, I suspect she's in a city like Sparta or something and this is a child that they've deemed unfit for whatever reason. So she's charged with getting rid of it.

Judging by Nicola Scott's reactions to the sequence, I don't think that baby's gonna make it lol.

The child could be the child that will eventually be reincarnated as Diana.

Or the child could have no connection to Diana whatsoever.

I'm very excited to find out on November 30!

Why would anyone think Kelly Sue, of all people, would give a good portrayal of Patriarchy-Zeus? Looks like every Greek God is the embodiment of a “woke” concept - Patriarchy Zeus, Toxic Masculinity Ares, Body Positivity Aphrodite…so much for nuance
