Not usually a Paquette fan but this pretty nice. I think this is one of the Aphrodite Amazons.

I've picked up all the variants so far (not the leatherbacks, lol), so will probably get it.

But I've been buying the library edition.

I hope #3 isn't the last of Historia even if it is the last of Historia: The Amazons.

Well deserved! It's good to see Historia getting appreciated so much.

Not vibing with that "final", thought hopefully it's just a rebranding.

Happy to see the Eisner awards for Historia and Jiménez

Glad to see number 3 getting published on october

Intrigued that there's still some chance of the 9 series receiving the green light

Sad to see Kelly Sue didn't win the best writer award

It makes me so happy when people who deserve to win awards actually do.

Wish I could send a message back in time to Phil when he was having a miserable experience writing his run and tell him one day he'd win 2 extremely well-deserved Eisners for a single issue of a WW book. There was literally no way he wasn't going to win, though. Thrilled for him and everyone involved.

And I think it's definitely the end of "Historia: The Amazons," but not necessarily all of the Historia books. She always intended for it to be divided into 3 volumes. Hopefully we just get 2 other 3-issue minis with different subtitles, and considering how last night went down I'd be shocked if it didn't. The real question is whether we're gonna have to wait another 4 years for the next one...

In fairness, the fact that she was even nominated for her work on a single oversized floppy (only issue 1 was eligible) is absolutely nuts. James Tynion IV (the winner) was nominated for 10 different books. The only other nominee with 1 title to his name was nominated for a 300+-page GN.

I'd love to see her take it next year, though!

Yep. Kind of surprised this is his first Eisner win honestly, though more than happy a WW one was his first win.
