    That's a possibility.

I also think if the Amazons Hippolyta sent away lead to the Bana, the Bana will be more positive figures overall. They will keep the Amazon legacy alive in the outside world, and I don't expect Kelly Sue would go for the "the edgy Amazons are all the savage dark skinned ones" stuff. They could be what Antiope was referencing in the first book, when she called the Amazons sequestering themselves away from Man's World save for Diana as a "lie"

Yeah, I think they'll become the "Amazons" that get written about in Greek myth or other histories.

If the Bana appear, is it possible DeConnick also brings in the Egyptian gods?

Hmm, based on interviews of what she's hinted books 4-9 will be about I kind of doubt the story will complicate itself bringing in other pantheons.

I think the story will remain focused on the island, so the establishing of the Bana and their goddesses (if it happens at all) is likely to happen off screen

But if we did get it, it would be neat to see the number of Bana goddesses get bumped up to 6-7 to match the Olympians. We have Neith, Isis and Bast. Who would be neat additions?

Seshat, goddess of wisdom, knowledge and writing.

In the first issue of the new Justice Society comic, Wonder Woman is a member of the JSA in the 1940s. So at least some of it, if not all of it, is back in play.

Historia has been one of the best stories told via Hippolyta and the amazons. Thats it, that's my opinion.

Yeah, no it isn't. If it was there would be stuff in play right now, but there isn't.

I wonder how the Amazon nation grows on the island? Their numbers have grown since the last book, but still nowhere near what we normally see.

Unless that's going to be it in this version?

I knew Diana’s creation would be the finale of this chapter but how we got there was still so surprising and satisfying!

    I want more!!!

The listings for the book online refer to this as the “third and final chapter.” But I see some of you are anticipating what may come next. Has there been any confirmation of more books?
“You see…the rest of them are soldiers. But [Wonder Woman] is an artist.”

I only support the made of clay origin.
