Interesting that it belongs to the Artemis tribe and not Aphrodite or Hestia's.
Some runs have used the lasso as a weapon anyone can wield. So it's not unprecedented for someone other than WW to wield it.

Certainly adds some interesting potential if the lasso predates Wonder Woman as a precious treasure of the Amazons

In Rucka’s Rebirth storyline, the lasso, called “the perfect,” predated Diana/Wonder Woman.

I was always under the impression that the power of Truth was Hestia's gift to Diana. The lasso is just a conduit for her to channel this power.

That had been established, but has been inconsistent.

According to Jimenez, she's about to face off with Poseidon apparently.

It's one of four forms she has in the book also.

So we have confirmation that Hera will confront Zeus, and Athena is fighting Poseidon, which fits.

We might also see Aphrodite vs. Ares and Artemis vs. Apollo.

I guess that leaves Hesta, Demeter, Hephaestus and Hermes, but I can't imagine any combo those that might be confrontational with each other.

IIRC, Athena and Posiedon had a dispute in the myths as well. In Historia, it might be a telling of the origin of where the island of Themsycira came from.

    So:

Casual Form, Battle Form, Partial Battle Form and Animal Form?

Ah, so Hellene is probably the Queen of the Athena tribe.

Yep, and I think Euboea is the queen of Aphrodite's tribe, and Demeter might be Oenone.

Phil's design sheet for Philippus mentioned that Oenone was her "mirror opposite" and her armor represented Persephone in spring time, which the queen's armor seems to reflect.
