Sanjaya Malakar is my favorite American Idol contestant ever. I even have his awesome book.
My second favorite is Katharine Mcphee. How I wish she became my wife.
My third favorite is Jennifer Hudson. Awesome performance in Dreamgirls,

Hell I know that next to Clarkson and Hudson , the really successful one male wise is Chris Daughtry. That guy was lightning in a bottle and I remember when he got eliminated and everyone was like...WOW...THAT SUCKS. To Daughtry's credit he turned down being in rock band Fuel (they tried to get him to sign and drop outta the show) and did his own band. I can't answer for their post American Idol careers, but during American Idol I liked:
Chris Daughtry
David Cooke
Bo Bice
Adam Lambert
Scotty McCreery might also count, but we gave up during that season, so we didn't see that much of him.
The one who I disliked more than any other was Katharine Mcphee. She was clearly talented, but I couldn't stand her personality. Honestly I think on talent she probably should have won the series she was on, but her smarmy personality cost her it.Last edited by dancj; 03-20-2018 at 05:26 AM.
