Fusions, similar to DBZ or SU. It’s crazy yes, but I would love to see relationship-built fusions being in the X-books for some odd reason.

And M-Plate is a fusion. So we got something like that. Though seems a rare ability that the St. Croix siblings possess. I think it was Paige or Jubilee who said they were sick of the siblings & their fusions. lol

I think the craziest thing I would want is continuity and character progression. lol Instead of having characters in constant ruts for nostalgia, or having them turned into parodies of what they were.

Yeah, I’d love for this to become a general mutant ability. And depending on who fuses, they’d get different benefits and weaknesses.
For example:
Polaris/Colossus, when fused, would be able to cover themselves in metal, and shape that metal into any shape they want.

A mutant called Mother Mutant who has the ability to turn anyone into a mutant and starts her own cult, I thought it would be cool for Hope as a secondary mutation but any mutant villain could be cool including a member of the next suggestion...

Mutants from the future who are call the Original 5 because they are the first of a special breed of mutants and they become enemies to Cable.

My idea for an event for the Mutant Nation from another thread

Every mutant is trying to campaign (and some will battle) to decide who will lead the Mutant Nation. This could be a way to get mutant villains (Mystique, Azazel, Shaw, Daken, Omega Red, S.King, Emplate) into cooperating in which they are promised for a chance to be leader if they enlist into the X-Nation. Tie-ins could be several Heroes, Villains, Businesses, and other groups are helping their candidates and sabotaging others so they could have a pull in the aftermath of the election.

Political counterparts lol: Jean (Hilary), Storm (Obama), Emma (Female Trump), Beast (Bernie Sanders), Colossus or Magik or Omega Red (Vladimir Putin), Namor (Bill Clinton), Mystique (Nixon) Xavier or Magneto (Ronald Reagan), Hope (Sarah Palin)

Oh, it could also be a video game! (In Tekken 3 Voice) "King of Iron Mutant Tournament"

A mutant who can fused things, people, and other stuff could be cool also.
