We were having a discussion about Batgirl and I posted how i do do the plot with Killer Moth and then getting enhanced through some other means besides Neron.
But later I got to thinking. Would an Underworld Unleashed subplot work in the movies?
Aquaman - villain Black Manta. Manta sells his soul to become an actual ray like creature.
Batgirl - Killer Moth, sells his soul to become more powerful.
Nightwing - Block Buster, sells his soul to become smarter.
Shazam - is the person Neron wants to corrupt.
We could potentially find others.
Eventually leading to an Underworld Unleashed movie.

Underworld Unleashed?
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Why would you even want to? Killer Moth is glorious as an overly ambitious loser supervillain, but rather boring and generic as a big giant moth monster.
But... he's an overly ambitious loser supervillain, so after a particularly humiliating defeat he might just be willing to try whatever experimental booster he can get his hands on .
And no, Underworld Unleashed would not work in the movies, because at this point it is doubtful if Batgirl and Nightwing will ever even have movies. Or if Aquaman will have a sequel.
