    Good one Ray.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

No, I don't have a cover yet. Still searching.
Wow, I remember this movie. (And kudos for the spoiler warning on a 36 year old movie.)
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Not sure why you are coming at his cover. Mine doesn't have any "science" in it either.
Plus he also homaged PI with the circles on his cover
    It's all good.
Of course I read the title, don't be rude. I also bothered to read further.

    7) It's Okay to Discuss the Covers but if you Think Someone's Entry Doesn't Fit the Theme or Violates the Rules, you Don't need to Argue it in the thread, Simply Don't Vote for It!

    Thirded.

Happy St. Patty's Day folks. Let's have a drink, make some colcannon, fawn over the Infinity War trailer, and be friends.

I usually follow that rule, but it upset me that anyone would think a wheelchair is what made Hawking special so it should be used to pay homage to him.

Glad that has all blown over

I like that Paolo Rivera shows Doom's pimp cup with a straw in it. Very practical I'm not exactly sure what kind of science this shows. Maybe 3D global meteorology

Splendid cover, IM. Yes. The Empire stole Doctor Doom's original design for the Death Star.
