Too much details to be fake, and DC has done last minute creative team swaps before. I'm guessing maybe the story became 4 issues instead of 5.

I'm not saying the story is fake, clearly something is going on if they have a cover art but it seems just seems weird plus i find bleedingcool to be quick to report rumors or misreport a story. So I'll remain skeptical until a more reliable source reports it or we hear from Bryan Hill, Miguel Mendonca, or DC directly.

Blackfire's resurrection by Tynion/Snyder in New 52 was not done well and just tended to push me (not irretrievably) towards thinking Blackfire was better served left dead in awesome amazing The Cult.

He's already said that his arc is still happening in its entirety and it's only starting at #983 because the artist needed a bit more time.

That's good news. I was worried for a moment that he was only going to have 4 issues instead of the original five to tell the story he wants to tell. I really hate when someone at DC forces a writer to do a story in less issues than they were intending to do.
