It's one of those books that will have a better life OUTSIDE the comic book store.

Because it is one of the most checked out books at the libraries around here.

A name change here and there and you might have a guilty pleasure movie or show in the future.

Batman: Prelude to the Wedding: Nightwing vs Hush
Batman: Prelude to the Wedding: Harley Quinn vs Joker
    Batwoman #16
    Damage #6
    Deathstroke #32
    Detective Comics #982
    Detective Comics #983
    Green Arrow #41
    Harley Quinn #43
    Harley Quinn #44
    Nightwing #45
    Plastic Man #1
    Titans Special
    Teen Titans Special

    Maybes:

    Justice League #1
    Justice League #2
    Aquaman/Jabberjaw
    Black Lightning/Hong Kong Phooey
    The Flash/Speed Buggy

A kind of big month for me.

Really hope they don't screw up the Titans books.More than anything, I hope they still have a place for BumbleeBee. I dig her.

Pretty jazzed about the Plastic Man book. I dig Plas and hopefully this will be good.

Probably get Justice League for the first story arc or so like I usually do when they relaunch it.

This bunch of HannaBarbera x-overs looks pretty cool to me.

Really enjoying Damage and The Terrifics. Wish I had more room in my budget for some of the other new books.

    Just a few notes:

Justice League: well, Scott Synder sure seems to be nostalgic for the early 2000s animated Justice League. Me too. I like this line-up. Might be a bit over-powered with J'onn finally back (YAY!) but that's par for the course in the League.

Detective Comics: Black Lightning returning to the "Bat-family." Wasn't expecting that. Reason enough to keep it on the pull list, at least for a while.

The Man of Steel: At least it sounds like Bendis is merely inserting things into the past rather than retconning them away. So that's a relief.

Plastic Man: It'll be funny, that much I'm sure of.

Looking forward to JL. The title hasn't been good (let alone great) since the beginning of Rebirth.
Adding MoS and Hawkman to my pull list.

    SUICIDE SQUAD #43
“CONSTRICTION” part three! Trained to kill by Kobra, Deadshot’s daughter Zoe may be even more deadly than her father.
Batman and Deadshot must face her down and stop her before she kills both them and all of Kobra!

    deathstroke maya nobody.jpg

So, Zoey is now One Rose 2.0.. I will see this Suicide Squad chapter for see her transformation..

Anyway... This book existence was longer than I initially expected, I should be proud for this..

I can see her with 14-15 years but no more older for make this decision.

Maybe is CONTROL MIND and DC only will use her this time... and until 2-3 years, we will not see her in action again..

He's popular with the fans. Plus there just HAS to be that douche with a heart of gold type character in a legacy franchise.

    What Johnny said.

A fearless person, with no filter, wielding the most powerful weapon in the inverse is an interesting (and funny) concept.

Deep down, most of us have a little Guy Gardner in us. Unlike Guy, we have filters & safeguards.

I also miss Guy being a foil to Hal. They were supposed to be night & day, now they are a bit too much alike.

Yeah by making Hal an arrogant douche in Justice League: Origins I think Johns kind of inadvertently sabotaged a lot of the great work he did during his GL run.
It seems like since that story Hal has been portrayed in animated movies and some comics as less of a confident test pilot and more of an arrogant impulsive dimwit. He’s like Guy but without the bad attitude.

    Just my opinions....

Hal should be the "good cop" who sees the lines of gray in certain situations, and will bend the rules a bit on a case-by-case basis. Hal would be able to show someone the error of their ways without issuing a ticket, especially if the person was not a true threat.

Guy should be the "a-hole cop" who sees everything in black or white, and enforces the rules with extreme prejudice. Guy will throw the book at you, despite the person not being a true threat, but clearly in the wrong.
