    Default "Archies Meet Batman '66"

The New Batman '66 six issue mini series has been anounce. But unlike previous issues this will not be produced by DC Comics but rather by Archie Comics. Jeff Parker will still be at the helm as writer and Mike All red will return to create the main cover. But I asked you the rest it's Archie Comics all the way. Read more here.

I had heard rumors about this proposed crossover for quite some time but, I really wasn't getting too excited as I was never a big Archie reader (I was much more hoping for Batman '66 Meets The Monkees) nonetheless, this six-issue miniseries will serve to keep the franchise alive and hopefully Inspire additional issues from DC in the near future.

Yeah I think batman 66 and the monkees team up would be better. I can see it Peter vs the Joker, Davey tying to get a date with catwoman. Yeah it be more psychedelic and I love the monkees music better than than the archies .

I have written my own treatment for "Batman '66 Meets The Monkees". I might post it in the creative showcase section one of these days. I think I did a good job at mixing the most compatible aspects of the two shows to make a flowing story while still allowing moments of outrageousness that reaches the extremes of each show without disrupting the story.

Archies are a hotter property currently because of Riverdale. There could almost be a Batman '12 meets Riverdale. Given the dark nature of Riverdale it would fit right in with the Nolan trilogy.

I agree. I really wish that DC Comics would bring the Batman '66 comics back to regular production.

A Batman '66/Get Smart crossover would be fun.

How about batman 66 teams up with samantha stevens , Jeannie Nelson , Sabrina Spell man and Zatanna. Also ironic were all made closely at the same time in both comics and television how weird is that Could be say something like trigon looking for brides this would be of course before raven was born. Or something like all magic was lost or they some how switched lives some stories like that

Just don't forget the most important scene:
    Joker and Kaos behind the outrageous Bat-phone / Shoe-phone mix-up - http://community.comicbookresources....=1#post1486770
