Venom #3 cover reminds me of this:

"I should describe my known nature as tripartite, my interests consisting of three parallel and disassociated groups; a) love of the strange and the fantastic, b) love of abstract truth and scientific logic, c) love of the ancient and the permanent. Sundry combinations of these strains will probably account for my...odd tastes, and eccentricities."

I really respect that ASM #801 is 3.99. I know how huge #800 is going to be, but still, they could have jacked up the price for this one too. But instead, Slott's final issue will be a normal comic (hopefully) filled with heart.

    • Having traveled through space and time, there’s one thing left for SPIDEY to do: • Stop THE VEDOMI, a universal collective of artificial intelligences, from destroying all human life!
    • Can he do it? And even if he can, what will it cost?!
    32 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99
Fucking hell, the time traveling adventure will last that long? Hopefuly it doesn't read it's being dragged on for the sake of doing so, 'cause decompressed writting gets annoying because of that...

Wonder what the hell issue 305 means though, are they going to keep hopping to different universes?

    BEN REILLY: SCARLET SPIDER #19
    PETER DAVID (W)
    ANDRE LIMA ARAUJO (A)
    Cover by KHARY RANDOLPH
    • Sorceress MISTY BECK has uncovered a demonic artifact of unbelievable power and made an entire casino disappear for access to it!
    • This isn’t the cheap parlor trick of a two-bit magician, folks, Misty’s the real deal, and only the SCARLET SPIDER and the Slinger DUSK stand in her way!
    • Will Misty’s nefarious scheme return her father MYSTERIO back to his old tricks, or will an even worse fate befall the father and daughter?

    BEN REILLY: SCARLET SPIDER #20
    PETER DAVID (W) • WILL SLINEY (A)
    Cover by KHARY RANDOLPH
    • With Vegas restored, things are finally looking up for Ben Reilly…but he’s not out of the woods yet.
    • Weeks ago, Mistress Death appeared to Ben and made a promise. If he dies and is cloned even one more time, his soul will be permanently fractured, with no chance for redemption.
    • This issue sets Ben on a path that may seal his fate for good…
    32 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99
Wonder if that means Ben's comic will be used to touch more on the magic side of Spidey's lore while it lasts, or if this is a somewhat isolated case.

Sinister's Six. I like that one. And thanks to Spider-Man and the X-Men, it's totally canon!

Because it sounds like the beginning of the final arc?

-Pav, who got a bit of that vibe...
You were Spider-Man then. You and Peter had agreed on it. But he came back right when you started feeling comfortable.
You know what it means when he comes back

Yeah, it's very "beginning of the end" to me.

Has Spectacular Spider-Man been confirmed to be continuing for the foreseeable future through Fresh Start. I know Cebulski confirmed that Zdarsky's Two-in-One will be continuing alongside Slott's Fantastic Four relaunch.

Though I guess only the first wave of Fresh Start titles have been revealed.
Floppies as of November: Adventures of the Super Sons, Batman, Catwoman, The Green Lantern, Black Panther, Dead Man Logan, Domino, Exiles, Iceman, Immortal Hulk
Digital as of November: Daughters of the Dragon, Iron Fist: Phantom Limb, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage.

Zdarsky said in the interview last month when he signed his exclusive deal that he's still writing Spectacular for the foreseeable future, so that'll probably continue until Marvel decides they want him to write something different.

I'm curious how much Spencer's run will impact Spec now, but Zdarsky has admitted that they deliberately try and keep the book fun and accessible so there might not be much of one.

Heck, so far it's seems like Spec has more of an impact on ASM (with the whole Jonah thing) then vice-versa.

I'd assume that if ASM gets a significant change that lasts for a while, it'll affect Spectacular, so I assume something like the black costume Spidey will be using may affect it.

Waid and DC need to figure out how to solve their problems and Waid needs to return. Outside of his Daredevil run and at times Captain America, it seems he is not a good fit for Marvel.

Back to Spider-Man. Outside of Secret Empire have you generally liked what Spencer has worked on? I genuinely love Peter and want to read ASM, but am uncertain of Spencer.

Personally I really love Nick Spencer and think he's a great writer, not only did I think his Captain America/Secret Empire stuff was really good, but I'm also a big fan of his Ant-Man and his other work like on Secret Avengers and Avengers World was good as well.

His best is still Superior Foes Of Spider-Man, which is one of the reasons I'm really excited to see him on ASM. That series is definitely worth checking out.
