    Default James Tynion IV's Justice League Dark coming July 2018

    I'm in for Detective Chimp and Swamp Thing and Wonder Woman. Even Man Bat has me intrigued. Tynion clearly likes the idea of reforming former bat villains.

    I know he used zatana during his time on detective so I'm guessing she is a favorite of his. I would have preferred Black Alice but she is a bit God like. And maybe they didn't want too much power.

    This one seemed interesting and I believe Snyder mentioned John Constantine as well.

    I didn't see the panel but that makes sense to have him on the team. It seemed a little light on members

    I was expecting this given Tynion's affinity for Zatanna and that he was writing Team Mystic for No Justice. Really eclectic and interesting line-up he's got there .

    Wonder Woman spearheading a Justice League team should be awesome .

    I kind of give a side-eye to Zatanna not wearing a costume without her fishnets again, but at least this JLD design feels more like herself then her old one.

    And Williamson/Sejic doing a team with Jessica Cruz!!!
    This is legit the most excited I've been for the Justice League line in my entire time reading comics.

    This whole new Justice League line is very intriguing. I haven't been this excited about the JL since 'Darkseid War'.

    And Detective Chimp in there. You can't make this stuff up sometimes.

    Almost everything about this book and the other JL books look amazing. The lineups are interesting and should have unique interactions given how little some of the characters interact with one another anymore. Only problem with this book is the writer. I will never get the push for tynion, just makes no sense at all to me. He has never written anything great, his best stuff has been average at best. He is probably the only writer who would make me want constantine to not be a part of a JL dark team like this because based on his previous work on the character, he has no idea how to use Constantine. Tynion always picks one or two characters that he champions and then the rest of the characters will be there to be punching bags for the characters his likes. I just hope they keep Batman far away from this book because if Tynion ever writes bruce again it will be too soon.


    I will say that the zatanna costume looks awesome. I miss the old look but this new one is really good.
