Wonder Woman Justice League Dark

I like it!

1. Diana's in a leadership role, with no Superman or Batman to be seen.

2. Diana and Zee together is ALWAYS good.

3. Detective Chimp is awesome, though I do agree with Agent Z that I'd rather see him in a reformed Shadowpact. And to anyone wondering what he can do? He's Batman the way Batman should be on a Justice League team: he's the brainy investigator who collects valuable information for the team. He also appears to be carrying a sword in that pic, so I'm guessing he'll be at least somewhat combat capable.

4. Glad to see Zatanna rockin' the top hat again, though yeah the rest of the outfit is a little too New 52-y to me.

5. I did notice that Manbat isn't magic-based, but that's not a huge problem. I kinda like having at least one science person on a magic team. Always funny watching them stress out trying to rationalize what magic does in a scientific context. Plus, he brings a fresh perspective.

[My Two Cents]

From what I can gather there will be one general Justice League that will work out of the Halls Of Justice building.
Diana will have a team to focus on magic and she and her teams members (that will change at times) will take a portal
from the Hall of Justice to a point in the multiverse they are needed and than return when finished where Diana will
both go on adventures with the main Justice League team or take a personal leave to attend to her own title and other
adventures she is committed to D C in doing.
D C also announced along with an expanded Justice League roster, there will be a return of the Legion Of Doom ("Ohhhhhhh what a rush")
I would not be surprised if Lex Luthor has not only reached out to Cheetah to join there evolution of evil, but that she
agreed.

This is exciting but it's not the sexiest lineup in my opinion. Justice League Odyssey boasts a better creative team, arguably a better lineup and is getting more buzz already. Maybe switch out Man-bat for Constantine

It's a cool concept and I'm glad Diana gets to lead a team. I don't mind Man-bat as a science guy feels like a good foil/POV for this team.

I don't want Constantine as a team member. He works better solo or as an occasional ally, but he's not a team person.
Man Bat is the addition that bugs me the most. I'd much rather see someone like Etrigan.

My team would have been something like:

Raven
Black Orchid
Frankenstein
Etrigan
Dr. Chimp

I'd have Diana as leader of the main League and frequent guest star here.

Ugh. Why do people want Constantine? He hogged all the spotlight in the original jld and Zatanna was portrayed as a useless, damsel in distress for him and had almost no personality outside of being his girlfriend

I like what I've read of Tynion's writing, so I'll check it out. I look at that roster, though, and I wonder how one leads Man-Bat and why would Swamp Thing join a team, much less agree to be led? Then again, to the latter point, I haven't read Swamp Thing in a long time, and I don't know how the character may have changed in the nu52 or in Rebirth.

The should have done this same thing with Superman and Batman, have them leading an off-shoot team, and omit them from the main JL title to shake things up more.
