    Default Princess Ugg

Podcast from Wayne's Comics, interview with creator Ted Naifeh.

God damn, I love this series. Issue #1 was funny and charming while issue #2 was just heartbreaking. I'm giving this issue a 10/10 rating like I did the first issue. Really great new series from the creator of Courtney Crumrin about a barbarian warrior princess with her pet mammoth from the mountains thrust into the valley for princess academy. Funny and witty with stunning art from Ted Naifeh as he puts his own spin on the classic princess trope.
It's easily my favorite overall comic at the moment. This title needs to blow up! Support Ted Naifeh and all the great titles that Oni Press is currently putting out today, they are simply just terrific.

Hey Groo, you might know this already but if not, Naifeh also recently did an interview on Life Leave Me Alone. Starts around 45 minutes! http://lifeleavemealone.com/post/915...e-w-ted-naifeh

Cool thanks. Just listened to it. Naifeh talks very openly when he does podcasts, mentioned how important sales are to keep an indy title going. If you try out something and like it, don't trade wait people. Sales are very important to indie publishers especially a small company like Oni Press. If you like a title, try to pick up the monthly issues and support the creator. If you trade wait and find out that you really love it, there may be no volume 2 because the creator cannot afford to keep producing the title.
